We believe:
- That knowledge has power to transform people.
- That educated equine care workers more effectively meet the day-to-day needs of horses, especially racehorses.
- That equine care workers with the initiative and desire to learn on their own time will ultimately be the employees that trainers will keep and advance.
We further believe:
- That most equine care workers want to learn and desire to know how to do their jobs better because they care about their horses.
- That this education should be available in both English and Spanish to eliminate language as a barrier to learning while at the same time improving communication among equine care co-workers.
- That the Elite Program's training is making a difference in the lives of people and horses.
